About the department:
The Potter County Human Resources department was established to provide service and advisory support to all County departments with respect to hiring, placement, retention and other activities inherent with a viable personnel system and ensure compliance with Federal and State laws and regulations. Areas of responsibility include but are not limited to workers compensation, monitoring and oversight of the employee group insurance plans, personnel record keeping, maintaining the employee database including new employees, terminations and all payroll transactions.
The Human Resource department serves as the initial contact for applicants for general employment including the on-boarding process as well as the primary contact for employees with regard to group insurance, retirement and other group benefits as well as payroll and general policy related questions and concerns.
The County of Potter announces all of its classified jobs weekly. Applications for employment may be obtained and submitted to the Human Resources Department on the seventh floor of Santa Fe Building.
