About the Office:

The Office of Elections Administration was established on January 1, 2011, by the Commissioners' Court.  The department is responsible for voter registration and well as conducting elections in the county.  The position of Elections Administrator is filled by appointment of the County Election Commission (County Judge, County Clerk, Tax Assessor-Collector, and the County Chair of each political party).


Voting By Mail:

You may submit an application request for a ballot by mail.  If you are outside the county, the Ballot-by-Mail Application may be faxed to 806-379-2249.  Ballots are mailed as early as 45 days until 7 days before an election.  You may also call our office or send an email with your full name, address, city, state, and zip code to request the application.
