Elections/Voter Registration:
A person must be registered at least 30 days before Election Day. There is not a "length of residence" requirement for voter registration eligibility. You are eligible to submit a voter registration application once you have established a residence address in the county. After you become registered, you will remain registered as long as you do not move or change your mailing address.
A VOTER REGISTRATION APPLICATION SUBMITTED BY FAX CANNOT BE ACCEPTED.
Pursuant to state law, new Voter Registration Certificates are mailed to all registered voters every two years. If any information contained on the certificate is incorrect, turn the certificate over, and write the correct information on the space provided. Return the corrected certificate to the address listed on the front of the certificate.
NOTE:
Voter Registration Certificates are mailed to the address of record and are NON-FORWARDABLE. If you move to another county, you must register in your new county. It is important to keep the information on your Voter Registration Certificate up-to-date.
You may submit an Application request for a ballot by mail. If you are outside the County the Ballot by Mail Application may be faxed to 806-379-2249. Ballots are mailed from 45 to 7 days before an election.
You may also call our office at 806-379-2299 or send an E-Mail with your
Full Name, Address, City, State, & Zip Code to request the application.
